Progress

I have posted this little guy before, but today he is a bit more symbolic than before. Progress, no matter how slow, is progress.

Keep moving my friends.

Just over the next hill...

We seem to always be asking, "what is over the next hill?" This may be an example of our curiosity or our anxiety of future things which we are looking forward to or are unsure of.

I think that there is a lot to be said for always striving to make it just over the next hill. Doing so pushes you to always be forward looking and trying to get more out of life.

If what you find over that next hill doesn't suit your fancy you can always turn around and enjoy your towering view of the low ground that you have passed on your journey.

So go on, strive to make it just over the next hill, and if it doesn't kill you then you should probably try to make it just over the next hill, and the next.

Inspiration!

I will admit it, I need inspiration to keep my focus while working out in the colder months (in the gym). So I turn to magazines and podcasts to do this.

To my surprise today I received the latest issue of Outside Magazine! What better form of motivation!

Looks like it is going to be a good one!

Daily Inspiration!

Man, in the midst of all of this studying, do I need inspiration today! This inspiration comes from C. Bromley.

This shot is of me, in one of my favorite places, Old Baldy. Doing what I love to do. I cannot wait until I can do this again. When my time to myself does not consist of making coffee, and posting quick blogs on here. Maybe second semester will be much easier, hopefully I will have time management and book briefing down pat. Hopefully I will get to make a trip up North.

And another:
Woohoo on the water!

Wait, scratch that! This is inspiration right? Well then, yes, yes it will be easier, Yes I will have the hang of it, and yes We will be taking more weekend trips Up North, why? For a few reasons: 1 no more wasted nights on intro class. 2 hopefully 3 days of class per week, and 3 a mastery of time management for law school!

Inspired indeed! This spring/ summer will be the best ever! We are going to kick butt!

Scratch that too! Today will be the best ever. I am going to smash this Contract law midterm right outta the park! And tomorrow, Crim, I have your number too! And this weekend, I am going to take on Adverse Possession with a vengeance.

So here is to today!

I hope yours is a little brighter after reading this post!

CHARGE ON!

Inspiration:

Today's Inspiration comes from Mother Nature, and the beautiful Lake Michigan

I know that this inspirational shot is of me, but I cannot lie, this is pretty inspirational. There we were, out there where no one else was loving the feeling of being away from people in this busy world!

Just got done working out, so my day has already begun. Working out to prepare for this summer's activities. I am thinking: kayaking, hiking, road biking, mtn biking, jogging and fishing.

On a side note, I would like to thank my friend Sharkbytes for featuring me on her blog My Quality Day. Please visit it when you get the chance!

Have a great day,

Today's Inspiration:

I know you have all seen this picture before (if you really read the blog that is!). If you are not an avid reader well then look here for the full details!

Anyway, I love to snowshoe, and today's inspirational shot is of Chelsea snowshoeing. It inspires me to keep in shape so that we can continue to do things that we love, and also so that we can experience new things!

What kind of new things? Well: biking, rockwall climbing, slacklining and cross-country skiing to name a few!

Hope your weekend went well.

Heading to the Gym, looking for some inspiration:

Today's shot is of a random guy climbing some rocks. I have always wanted to at least try a rock wall, but have lacked the upper body strength and stamina to do so. So this is a pretty good shot of someone doing something that I would love to do!

I am thus inspired.

Time to workout, then hit the books again!
